As we celebrate our 52nd Annual Gala, join us in supporting our mission and empowering students to integrate who they are with what they learn, shaping a future blooming with possibility.

It takes curiosity, freedom, and an open mind to see things in a new way. Founded in 1971, The Studio School offers children in preschool through eighth grade an interdisciplinary curriculum in which children learn to think critically and creatively. The School is committed to creating a community that celebrates the richness of life and the common bonds of all humanity.

Our Annual Gala, to be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, is our largest fundraising event of the year and a time when we seek advertisements and tributes from our community, including families and friends, business partners, corporations, and more. Join in and be part of our beautiful Souvenir Journal to celebrate our school and all those we care about.

The Studio School is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All contributions directly support our programs and students and are greatly appreciated. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Thank you.

Deadline for ad submissions is Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Remarks from Head of School

Janet C. Rotter

For tonight, you received an invitation to an OPENING and I am delighted you accepted. In Studio’s 51st year, I see new ways to further deepen everyone’s learning in our community and beyond, as we boldly challenge the cultural mainstream of education. This is an important time to pause and acknowledge how the ills and troubles of our world, everywhere, on every level, are negatively impacting us and most importantly our children—the next generation. There is an opening here! An opening to lean into what an education from the Inside Out truly offers, today, and always. There's so much to celebrate as we continue to raise a generation of human beings with emotional balance and well-being, who embrace the incredible challenges of today with thought, ingenuity, creativity, and great determination.

Dear Studio Community,

As we reflect on last Thursday's splendid evening, our hearts brim with warmth and gratitude. Our 52nd Annual Gala was not just an event; it was a testament to the incredible spirit and unity of our community. An evening that was both beautiful and profound, it brought to life the essence of what makes our Studio family truly special.

The night was filled with moments of joy, inspiration, and connection. The culinary delights were beyond compare, so much so that we were tempted to ask for seconds!

There were many highlights of the evening, from the moving speeches by Ms. Rotter to the inspiring words shared by Susan Mamis, our esteemed retired Board Chair. The Live Auction and Paddle Moment not only entertained us, but also reminded us of the profound impact our support has on the Studio community. The performance by the Class of 2024 showcased the boundless talent and creativity of our students, filling us with pride.

This incredible experience was made possible by the tireless efforts of many. We send a heartfelt Thank You to everyone involved in soliciting auction items, collecting ads and tributes, designing the journal, engaging our community, and offering their support wherever needed.

Here's to the continued success of our galas, the growth of our Studio community, and the unbreakable bonds that connect us all.

With warmest regards,
Dawn West & OH Prema

We have had the courage to see The Possibility: The Studio School. One dreams, one imagines, one thinks, one ponders, one yearns, one creates. With love, patience, and encouragement, we see the magnificent prospect of what is to become and what a school can be, inspiring us all through the many challenges and concerns of teaching and raising children.”
