The Studio School Gala is our largest fundraising event of the year, bringing our intergenerational community of parents, grandparents, alumni, teachers, staff members, and friends of the school together in support of a transformative education. It is a momentous night of dining, dancing, bidding, and celebrating, featuring our exciting paddle moment, and silent and live auctions.
For tonight, you received an invitation to an OPENING and I am delighted you accepted. In Studio’s 51st year, I see new ways to further deepen everyone’s learning in our community and beyond, as we boldly challenge the cultural mainstream of education. This is an important time to pause and acknowledge how the ills and troubles of our world, everywhere, on every level, are negatively impacting us and most importantly our children—the next generation. There is an opening here! An opening to lean into what an education from the Inside Out truly offers, today, and always. There's so much to celebrate as we continue to raise a generation of human beings with emotional balance and well-being, who embrace the incredible challenges of today with thought, ingenuity, creativity, and great determination.

Dear Studio School Families and Friends,
Congratulations to all of us on a SPECTACULAR 51st Gala! It was thrilling to be together and celebrate our wonderfully diverse community of educators, parents, alumni, and supporters, knowing our shared dedication to helping our children become conscientious, inquisitive students, and compassionate and responsible human beings.
What an honor it was to co-lead our Gala committee and help bring this special event to life. From the moment the night began, joy, love, and connection filled the room, as guests walked the purple carpet, posed for photos together at our step and repeat, delighted in delicious hors d'oeuvres, and placed bids in our fabulous Silent Auction. Yet the party was just getting started! With dinner, came a moving film, capturing the longevity and power of The Studio Approach, and beautiful remarks by Ms. Cheng, Treasurer of our Board, and Ms. Rotter, Head of School. I think we can speak on behalf on everyone and say that by the time Mr. Kahn arrived on stage for the Live Auction and Paddle Moment, we felt proud and inspired to be a part of Studio's community, and excited to raise our paddles. The Class of 2023's gorgeous performance blew us all away and was the perfect transition to dancing and dessert!
Thank you to everyone who generously bid, sponsored tickets, donated items, contributed to our journal, and volunteered their time and resources to make this night possible, collectively supporting our incredible school. It was a night that we will treasure forever.
With gratitude,
Pamela Carter and Kelly Fink
