Application Deadline

Our Application for Admission for the 2011-2012 academic year is due Wednesday, December 8, 2010. We encourage you to submit the application as soon as possible, as the number of interview slots are limited. For your convenience, please refer to the checklist for additional admissions requirements.

Evaluations and Progress Reports

If your child is currently enrolled in an independent school or preschool, please sign and forward the Records Release to the current school or preschool. If your child is in public school, please call us to have the appropriate blank evaluation form sent to your child’s teacher. The ERBs are required for applicants to grades 3 and above. Please contact the Educational Records Bureau (ERB), (212) 672-9800, to arrange for testing. Please ask the ERB to send the report directly to The Studio School. Although we do not require the ERB for applicants to Kindergarten – Grade 2, please ask ERB to send us the results if your child has taken or will be taking the test. Additionally, for students applying to second grade and above, please ask the current school to forward a transcript. Please provide us with copies of any current reports from specialists or educational/psychological evaluations.

Financial Aid
