Afternoons at Studio

Janet Rotter

Clubhouse

Clubhouse is an informal, after-school gathering of students aged four and up, who spend their afternoons together in a family-style group of mixed ages.  The children make full use of the school’s facilities as they play ball in the gym, construct houses in the yard, work on craft projects in a classroom, make snacks in the kitchen, or study in the library.  The daily schedule includes planned group activities, as well as time for individual pursuits, such as homework, reading, or project completion; nutritious snacks are provided.

Clubhouse runs from 3:00-5:45 PM, Monday-Friday, and also on Wednesdays from 12:30-3:00 PM, and is open on days when school is in session.

Explorations

We offer a range of more formal classes and workshops through Explorations.  We have had classes in ceramics, sports, chess, theater, dance, model airplane building, and more.  Explorations classes are open to families outside the school as well as to Studio families.
